A new loyalty program. A new design. Brandimage creates new cards for the Europcar Privilege program.

April 03, 2014

Brandimage, a leading global consultancy of brand equity architects and designers, announced that it has created new design for the Europcar Privilege program. The European leader in vehicle hire, Europcar is extending its loyalty program to include new advantages and is launching a new “Elite VIP” category to reward its most loyal customers.

High-performance and premium design illustrate the upscale move

Brandimage designed and developed the brand’s new territorial codes. To achieve the objective of a more status-oriented expression, the agency created a new graphic range that highlights the program’s different categories. “We paid a great deal of attention to the rendering of the Elite VIP card, rooting it in exclusivity in particular through its sophisticated visual identity, which we developed as an icon for Europcar,” explains Loïc Prat, Brandimage Paris Art Director.

Increased segmentation for greater accessibility

The new generation of cards provides more clarity and proximity, whilst reinforcing the brand’s innovative spirit: “moving your way”. The program’s personality and character stem directly from its identity, its DNA. “We designed and created the brand’s alphabet to showcase Europcar’s spirit. The roundness of the letters is a new expression of the brand’s proximity and vitality,” comments Alain Doré, Brandimage Paris Creative Director. Brandimage’s creative scope included overhauling the program’s design codes completely, redefining the loyalty cards and the associated communication media.

Brandimage has been working with Europcar on its identity and signage projects since 2011. From creating its corporate identity to completely redefining its brand architecture to signage and vehicle branding, all of Europcar’s customer touch-points have been energized with new graphic codes.
